PCAB: Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board
As the demand for compounded medications increased, the pharmacy profession saw a need for an enhanced, profession-wide system of standards by which each compounding pharmacy can test its quality processes. Compounding pharmacists also wanted a mechanism to allow them to know that their quality is high and that their patients are as safe as possible. PCAB Accreditation gives patients and prescribers a way to select a pharmacy that meets high quality standards.
IACP: International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists

Is Your Pharmacy Providing Security for You/Your Patients?
- How do you know if your injectable medications are labeled correctly?
- How do you know if the amount of medication on the vial is actually what is in the vial?
- Have you experienced different results from one vial to the next?
- Is the expiration date accurate, or just a guess?
- Do recent events concern you about mistakes that can occur in compounding pharmacies?
Pallimed Solutions Pharmacy is the only New England based compounding pharmacy that takes validation of compounded injectables to the level needed to provide security to both our patients and our physician clients. Compounding pharmacies are required by the FDA to ensure that their injectable medications are sterile. But these minimal requirements do not address the issues surrounding potency, purity, and shelf life.
Pallimed Solutions holds itself to these standards. Keeping our patients safer, allowing for greater security to our customers.
You have enough to think about without needing to worry about these concerns.
Call us today so we may demonstrate how Pallimed can enhance the level of security for you or for your practice.
Pallimed due diligence check list:
Here at Pallimed, we are:
- In compliance with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Chapter 797 guidelines for oversight of sterile compounding.
- In operation of a sterile compounding environment which is separate from the general pharmacy laboratory, and is in compliance with the USP clean-room guidelines.
- Consistently adhering to the 'Good Compounding Guidelines' as set forth by the USP, in addition to Federal and Massachusetts State Board of Pharmacy compounding pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Performing bi-annual independent certifications of our Class 1000 clean-room and laminar airflow hood.
- Continually training all of our compound pharmacists and pharmacy technicians on current compounding pharmacy quality standards.
- Committed in writing our specific policies and procedures for preparing, compounding, and dispensing all of our products.
- Only purchasing from FDA-licensed chemical suppliers the USP grade, or better, raw materials used in the preparation of our compounded medications.
- Continually striving to provide the best customer service possible by ensuring that we handle any concerns or complaints immediately and to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Always checking, testing, and evaluating all of our finished compounds for potency, purity, quality, and stability to establish reliable 'use-by' dates.
- Committed in providing our third party testing results for all of our sterile compounds with you upon request, this will ensure that you are always going to be receiving the best product available. Process Validation is provided with all encapsulated preparations.
- Consistently maintaining and reviewing master formulas and lot-specific worksheets, in turn making the necessary adjustments derived from internal and external experiences.
